Ben asked him to get the car number plate as well as a description .
Debbie is fine needs to stay in hospital a few days longer but she`s told her mum she remember`s seeing the car turn the corner quickly but cant say if the car hit her.
her mum came round to tell us also the local press have been Ben spoke to them with her mum had a photo taken with her I just let Ben answer all the questions he did really well looking forward to seeing his photo in the paper. I think Marks board of it all already .
Mums a bit concerned about what happens with the driver of the car she`s already asked the police what going to be done to protect Ben in all this am sure he will be given full support .

Don't worry about the driver coming back to hurt you. He or she is a coward and only knows how to run.
ReplyDeleteYou all did just great. You deserve to get some public attention. I think the driver will be in trouble. Please let us know when you find out who it was, if it was a young person or an old person. There is no excuse for leaving the scene of an accident.
ReplyDeleteit`s more than likely to be a youth as they were spotted by the guy in the shop as he took the registration one of the youths was local . also i did`nt ask for it but the shop owner gave me a case of lager 24 can`s :) Ben will get something later in the week.
ReplyDeleteG-Sar glad Susie is on the mend. I don't agree with what the driver did but I do feel a bit sad for him/her that a moment of carelessness and fear will cost them dearly.
ReplyDeleteWell at least Ben and you deserve to feel good that you did help big time.
Take care Stef
its bad news for the driver he had borrowed it off his dad he was 19 and hadn't passed his test yet so his dad suffers to .they didnt get out the car because they were scared . mum says his dad is just as stupid as he cant claim insurance and will more than likely get a fine also . not sure what Debbie`s parents are going to do about it they have every right to take it further ..
